Beneficiary

See Jane Run Sports is proud to partner with Girls Inc. of the Island City, the nonprofit that is the beneficiary of this event. A portion of each registration fee for the race and to our running club, (with a minimum donation of $1,500) goes directly to this worthy organization.

Girls Inc. of the Island City is the Alameda city affiliate member of a national nonprofit dedicated to inspiring all girls to "be strong, smart, and bold." Girls Inc. recognizes that gender stereotyping still limits girls' potential, and challenges girls to ask questions about themselves and the world in which they live. Programs are designed to be hands-on and interactive in order to encourage each girl to take risks and gain a sense of her own power and strength.

Whether or not you participate in the race, we encourage everyone to donate to this great organization at Active Giving/Girls Inc. Island City. All donors will be automatically eligible to win fabulous prizes!
