Directions and Parking

Shadow Cliffs is a very user friendly park. Parking is just yards from the start. But get there early to avoid lines and to claim the ideal transition spot.

From San Francisco & the East Bay

Take 580 East
Exit Santa Rita Road towards Pleasanton
Left on Valley Ave
Left on Stanley Blvd
Right into Shadow Cliffs Regional Park

From San Jose

Take 680 North
Exit Sunol Blvd (Castlewood) twd Pleasanton
Sunol becomes 1st Street
1st Street becomes Stanley Blvd
Right into Shadow Cliffs Regional Park

Parking

Parking is $6 per car. There is also a dog fee of $2. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and are not allowed on the beach or in the wetlands. There will be a long line to get into the park from 6-7 a.m. Get there early to avoid this line. It will also go very quickly if everyone brings exact change for the gate attendant. But don't worry, everyone will get in the park in plenty of time to get ready for the race. And, don't forget, carpooling isn't a bad idea!
