Spectator Information

Family and friends are welcome to come and cheer you on. They can watch you compete from various points all along the course. All we ask is that spectators stay off the course. There are designated places to cross, but the course must remain clear, especially as the race is winding down. As the saying goes, ‘it ain’t over til it’s over.’

Spectator Tips

Being a spectator is hard work! Bring a good, strong cheering voice, whistles and cowbells. And be sure to wear a hat and sunscreen and drink plenty of water.

As a racer, once you’ve completed the race, you too can become a spectator and cheer the remaining racers on. It’s a lot of fun. You have to stick around anyway until the race is over since it’s dangerous for the other athletes when you pack up and leave while the race is still in progress.
